Get Out There and Photograph! – PARTS 1 and 2

This is an intense two-part, two-semester course on digital photography. In part 1: "Classic Photographic Theory and Understanding Your Camera". We concentrated on classic photography theory, then we progressed to the operation of today's digital cameras; specifically, DSLR, the newer mirrorless cameras and high-end point-and-shoots.

Note that there is no specific coverage of the use of smartphone devices for photography.

For Spring 2017, I offer you Part 2: "Photography in Practice: A Workshop". During this semester we consolidate all that has been learned, add some more photographic theory and practice, then we work on photographic assignments with class critiques. We will also conduct a photo-walk on the grounds of the campus.

Books and other resources are not required, however recommendations will be made.
